Genre
Our final idea for our short film explores genres of Horror and some elements of Social Realism as we will use iconography of the everyday to reinforce realism, making it more engaging and thriller for spectators as if the events we present could happen to them. Our short film has a chronological and linear narrative, you could also argue that our structure is also circular as we aim to foreshadow aspects of our films ending, therefore creating action codes apart of Roland Barthes theory, as we want to generate enigma however, prepare our target audience that there will be events taking place throughout the plot.
